Mosooi Festival of the Arts

The Mosooi festival has always been celebrated annually to highlight the native flower mosooi and its many uses for daily living.  Historically, it has always been a month-long stretch of activities and events that include our Samoan games, entertainment, dances, songs and beauty pageants/fashion shows.  The month of October has always been designated as the month of the Mosooi as the start of the bloom season and leading into the palolo season.  Coincidentally, it also follows the Teuila Festival every September celebrated in independent Samoa.
